The planet that is responsible for our action, our passion, our anger, and the ruling planet of all Aries Rising individuals is about to enter into Aries, its natural home. This is where it is most comfortable. When Mars transits into Aries, we get a fire lit under us in whatever house we have Aries in. We’re suddenly motivated and confident again.
Mars was in Pisces for one month and 7 days, from March 22, 2024, to April 30, 2024, which timed almost in line with Mercury Retrograde, which was from April 1, 2024, to April 25, 2024. Those two transits happening at the same time contributed to a lot of what most of us have been feeling for the past month. This on the heels of some major eclipses definitely added to the shell-shocked feeling I see on the faces of the masses lately. lol
The eclipses brought about fated events and karma that massively changed our lives in various ways, and since then, it’s been difficult to get our bearings. Add this to the fact that when Mars is in Pisces, our dreams are wildly activated. So if you’ve been having crazy dreams for the past few weeks, you’re not alone, and just give it a minute, and it should clear up in a week’s time. So will feeling like you and your thoughts and ideas are moving through a giant fog. But remember that we still have to get through Phase 3 of Mercury retrograde before we will shake its influences on us completely.
Before Mars exits Pisces on April 30, 2024, it will conjunct (touch, meld with) Neptune, which is slowly creeping through the last couple of degrees of its own home sign. Neptune is what I call one of the “iceberg” planets. It moves so slowly that it’s almost impossible to witness its movements with the naked eye, but once it’s gone, it will have forever changed the landscape of our lives. It’s also known as a “generational planet” because it spends about 14 years in each sign and therefore makes entire generations similar under its influence. Neptune entered Pisces in 2011 and won’t leave until 2026. It stays in each sign that long because it is retrograde 150 days out of every year. Warrior Mars will meet up with languishing Neptune on April 28, 2024.
Mars and Neptune are anything but friendly. Mars says ‘Go! Go! Go! Go NOW! AND while you’re at it kick tf outta anything that gets in your way!’ while Neptune says ‘Here. Let’s have a drink and relax and avoid thinking about what we are supposed to be doing. Don’t those clouds look like bunnies?’ When these two planets meet up, it can be confusing at the very least, and frustration that leads to violence at the worst. Violence fueled by religious ideology is also a possibility.
There is an upside to this transit though. Since Mars is our sex drive and Neptune is so dreamy, romance is highly favored. Seductiveness on tap for a day or so, but remember that with great power comes great responsibility. Fame and success are favored, but so is the tendency to be unrealistic. So be sure to try to keep your feet on the ground.
Many may feel as if they have ‘found their purpose in life’ for a few days here, and with Mars then entering Aries directly afterwards they may just have the passion and drive to follow through with it as long as this last phase of Mercury Retrograde doesn’t frustrate them to the point of throwing up their hands.
